My name is Marcus (alias Elasto-Merican). Back in 2037, an asteroid impact caused a few hundred people, myself included, to have superpowers. Some of us registered with the government to work as bounty hunters to apprehend the worst of the worst. Unfortunately, some superhumans chose to use their abilities for illegal and immoral purposes. I have been tasked by the government to track down the shape-shifting leader of a terrorist group, the Novi Populus, known as Mr. Charon. Several dozen superhumans who have been previously tasked with apprehending Mr. Charon, dead or alive, have been killed off, so we're running low on manpower here.
But I don't have to go about this alone. If I team up with my roommate Trevor (alias Shadow Spartan) and another fellow superhuman, what's the worst that can happen in our pursuit to take down an enemy who can take on many forms?
