Lighting up the shadow

After the curse is lifted, the wizard Hans takes Mira as his apprentice.
He gives her an energy ring, with which she can cast spells.
But when Mira's magic failed at Kaiden's coronation, Hans took the ring from her until she reconciles with her shadow.
