A Chance of Fate

Nancy Cole had finally found the man of her dreams in the most unconventional way, but even so, she was determined to leave the only life she had known behind. She uses all her saving to pay for the trip to Colorado City, but during the trip she gets more than she bargained for. Patrick Delaware, the man she was going to be spending the rest of her life with had been doing the rounds, and when she discovers another passenger heading to Colorado for the same reason, her world falls apart.
The man she had fallen in love with had deceived her, and this meant war.
When Dr. Cowley comes to her rescue, not only once, she can't help but put aside the preconceived notion she had painted of him. Having known him during the war working as nurse at Stone Hill, she had found him to be arrogant and rude, but now, away from all the mayhem, he was nothing like the man she had known then.
