Simple and Sweet: A Love Story Collection, a collection of three short stories that are focused on the importance of love.

The first story, "Mimosa," centers around Haleigh and Matthew; two ex-lovers who are stuck on a plane together and try to avoid reconnecting. It features scenes of general young adult awkwardness these two face to come back together.

Then we have "Tie," a story about how self-forgiveness reignites the love and worship of a married couple as they have forgotten how to appreciate the little things in life. They go through a tough conversation and find themselves at an impasse on how to communicate.

The last story in the collection is "Sunshine Tamed Darkness," which focuses on Adaleah, a young woman/teen who wants to enjoy her town's festival with her close friends. A situation is met that seems impossible to control and Adaleah must muster up the courage and confidence to turn it around and make herself and the town remember something important.
