Everlasting Love

"Everlasting Love" is a book about my spiritual encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. My journey with Him started when I was twelve years old. My name is Matthew, and this is my true testimony. The Lord came into my life and gave me new hope for living. I was living full of emptiness before, but after I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, my life changed and became more meaningful. I felt so much peace. He saved me when I lost direction in life. His blood cleanses away all my sins. The Lord shows me His way and teaches me His path. He inspired me with His words (the Bible) and baptized me with the Holy Spirit and fire. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, He taught me about life, love, joy, peace, happiness, self-control, and fear of the Lord, which I'll share in this book.

The Lord used to communicate with me through His words, dreams, and visions. Every dream and vision is like guidance for me to continue to walk on the highway of holiness. The Lord does not leave me to walk alone. Sometimes, He gave me revelations and messages so I could share them with my brother and sister in Christ.

I did not say there were no problems in my life, but when I learned to give my life to God and surrender all matters to Him, the burden became lighter. The Lord fights all my battles and gives me victory. The way that God works is so different. It is written in Isaiah 55:8–9, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," declares the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts." Hallelujah!

I am delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son. I witnessed how the Lord saved me from a sinful life and gave me a purpose and hope to continue living as a new man in Christ. His salvation and love for me were something I couldn't deny.

There was a time I was shown a road that was really narrow at the side of a high mountain, and the journey was not as easy as it seemed. But I decided to trust in the name of the Lord. Romans 8:28 stated, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." I understood from this verse that Paul is saying God himself works all things together for our good. Hallelujah!

For so long, I have wondered about all the things that happened to me. It was so supernatural, and I was not sure whether people would believe my story or not if I told them. So I keep it to myself. I never knew I needed to share it with the public. But then the Lord made me understand when I saw Him in the middle of the long river. The river was so beautiful, with water that was clean and crystal clear. There, I saw many fish surrounding Lord Jesus, and He was feeding them. Then the Lord asked me to feed His fish in only one place. I obeyed His words. I believe it is time for me to share my testimony. There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Hallelujah!
