A Christmas Lover

Every year is the same around Christmas time. I get that lonely feeling, not that I don't feel it all the time. Just more so when Christmas is upon me. I don't have anyone to call my own. No man to lay beside in bed, no one to make me laugh. I'm in this house, and I don't like it as much as I thought I would. That is until I see Jake through my bedroom window. He catches me looking at him and waves. I wave back, not knowing what an impact he would have on my life for such a short time of knowing the man next door.
