Adhiambo faced racism being the only black child in her class.
Being a bright and brilliant girl she always emerged as the top pupil.
Despite of her shy nature, at some point, she feels discriminated and
keeps that to herself before her parents discover how reserved she
grows to be and all alone every time. They seek to know.
She also has a gift in creative arts making sculptures out of simple
tools like wood, clay and paper materials as the best pupil beating all
the rest in her class; this results in an opportunity of sponsorship and
being recognized worldwide in her fight against racism. She makes
dolls and idols to signify the African children and culture. She is
creative by painting them black.
