How To Use Divine Intelligence

Yet even as a child, before I had the language for such questions, heaven spoke. I remember sitting quietly on the porch of my parents' home, the wild stretching before me like a living canvas. The wind carried more than sound—it carried whispers. The rustle of trees, the cry of hyenas at night, the still gaze of giraffes moving through golden light —all of it spoke to me, as though creation itself was alive with secret meaning.

By the time I was eight or nine, the veil between worlds had thinned. I began to see and hear what others could not—visions from the Spirit realm, impressions carried like sacred whispers into my soul. For a season, it was as though the heavens leaned close, inviting me into mysteries far beyond my years. And though those gifts were snatched away before I could fully hold them, the memory of that early touch of the divine remained etched into my spirit. It was the spark that would guide me, even in the darkest valleys.

It was then that I came to understand the truth of Scripture:

?? Acts 2:17–18 (NIV

"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy."

The Word was alive in me before I even knew how to name it. My eyes were open, my ears attuned, my heart strangely warmed by the unseen. Later I came to recognize that not everyone perceives such mysteries, for the Scriptures also say:

?? Matthew 13:14–17 (NIV)

In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it."
