Standards of Morality

STANDARDS OF MORALITY provides engaging flash fiction that is meant not only to entertain but to challenge the mind as well. “Soul” and “Martyr” share a world where America has started a large movement against its citizens with a certain genetic property that gives them any number of powerful abilities. “A Long Time” and “The Box and the Maniac” are the two non-science fiction stories of the collection, but still handle the complex topics of dedication and obsession respectively. “The Minds of Men” then returns the reader to the realm of science fiction where the concepts of consciousness and lies are weighed. Though only a set of five stories, the collection is sure to challenge the reader to approach commonly accepted standards of morality with a different view.
