Alone on the Mountaintop

It seems that everyone can find the divine in nature. They watch in awe as the mountains pass. I hike with my sister before her wedding. The clouds pass overhead. There's snow across the way. An elk grazes mere feet away. It is nice. Why can I not experience it as more than nice? Where is god? Where am I?
