Meeting Mom

In a version of reality parallel to our own in which the human race and an elven counterpart share the same world and its history, a young couple exploring their new relationship has decided to go on their first date this evening. A young human named Andrew is committed to his friendship with Leriana, a young elven lady who in turn admires Andrew and has similar fond feelings for him. Leriana wants to introduce Andrew to her mother before their date tonight and is excited for the two to meet. Andrew, on the other hand, is not nearly as eager for the introduction. His apprehension may be well founded though, as there is a possibility that Leriana's mother will eat him alive- Literally.

Though humanity and elves have shared the world all along, the two species are not always on an equal level, as some elves eat humans as part of their obligatory diets. Leriana's mother is one of those elves, and now this young human was about to walk right into her home. Will Andrew survive meeting his new girlfriend's mom?
