The Prince

The Nievens come from the top of aristocratic society. Epstein, an academic, comes into contact with Augustus Nieven at Cambridge. Serge Nieven is in love with Mathilde, who is Jewish. Lucian Nieven, the black sheep lof the family becomes involved with an unsuitable woman. The old prince Nieven and his wife worry about the status and future of the family while Lucian cheats them.
