Lady Merriweather of Shenandoah County

It's been six years; six long years since Merriweather stood on the wooden walk in town and received a lecture for letting
her puppy get away from her. Francis Adams, whom she'd adored since the day she was born, had the nerve to strike her bottom and lectured her as the whole town looked on. She had never forgotten it.
