A Good Place

He was every cliché, a divorced cop who fell apart and then fell into a bottle, where he swam around long enough to lose his job, his pension, his hope. Then he dried out, and an old friend who owned a detective agency gave him a job. After putting in his year he got his own PI credentials. Now he was like a man new born, and just about as directionless, until he visits a small town in Nevada.
