The Briscoe Situation

The Briscoe Situation, the continuing adventures of the psychic Julius Briscoe. It's autumn of 1964. Julius is reeling from a devastating loss and finally returns to Philadelphia after dealing with those responsible. Back in Philly, Julius learns that his brother has been named an equity partner in a prestigious Chicago law firm and needs a half million in cash for his buy-in. Which Julius exchanges for his brother's share of the Big Corners empire. So the Briscoes take flight number 505 to Chicago for a Thanksgiving dinner that can't be beat and a long-overdue family reunion. Did I mention the skyjackers?

White shoe lawyers, professional killers, the truth behind the Kennedy assassination, European supercars, a procession of potential girlfriends, a famous folk singer, a shoot-out in a swanky restaurant— are the highlights of Julius's visit to Chicago.

Then it's back to Philadelphia where things get weirder and stranger.
