Fifteen-year-olds Will, Pikabo, and Iggy escaped death on Aqua only to find greater peril on Ventus. The world has suffered a global pandemic that killed billions. The one remaining government rounds-up the surviving children and brainwashes them in a centralized encampment. Using their powers, creative problem solving, and teamwork, the teenagers must work together to evade capture and find a way off this upside-down world. The threesome can't do it alone and are forced to rely on a band of renegade teens and a reclusive illusionist, each with special abilities of their own.
