Mysteries are falling from the sky.

Amateur sleuth Mandy Hansen has plans for National Meteor Watch Day: relax on the beach with her friends watching for shooting stars and make sure everyone gets to bed at a reasonable hour.
But when a bright streak lights the sky a little too close to town, word spreads about a possible impact site. Egged on by her friends, Mandy leads the group downtown to investigate. But they're not the only ones looking for the fallen star. It's suddenly a race against time to find the meteorite before exhaustion overcomes them or someone else snatches it up and it disappears forever.
