This book is an Urdu translation of selected articles of Wael Hallaq. In these articles, there is a rejection of Orientalist objection and also a call for thought to the Muslim scholars. The first paper negates the hypothesis of closing the door of Ijtihad. In the second paper, the details of the authority of Sunni consensus are presented. The third paper is related to the authenticity of the Prophetic Hadith. The fourth paper examines the relationship between jurisprudential authority and state power. The fourth paper discusses the implementation of Sharia in the modern state and the last paper explains what Islamic Sharia is.
