Once upon a time Quasimodo was a hunchback the church bell ringer, and Esmeralda was a young street dancer. Many men showed their interest in Esmeralda and lusted after her. Including the priest of Notre Dame of their Cathedral. The priest gets torn between his obsession with Esmeralda and the rules of the cathedral. Then the priest attempts to have Esmeralda, but when he fails, he has Esmeralda hanged. Seeing the death of Esmeralda, the hunchback has nothing to live for and walks away from the cathedral. There were many versions of different movies. The hunchback kills the priest at the end and the people who were laughing at hanging of innocent Esmeralda OR the hunchback didn't kill anybody, not even the priest. But the priest falls off the towel of Notre Dame to the ground down below to his death after Esmeralda gets hanged because the priest is responsible for her death. Butt the different versions have the same ending. How the hunchback of Notre Dame and Esmeralda the kind beautiful woman were embraced in eternity. Years later, they found their remains and their skeletons could not be separated.
