Deep in the mysterious mountains of Romania, a demon named Morgoth awakens after centuries of oblivion. An ancient spirit from local mythology, he seeks to reclaim the world of the living by manipulating human nature and beliefs.
To this end, Morgoth decides to create a game that will test humanity: a game of deduction and strategy, based on fear and paranoia. Inspired by ancient legends and forgotten rituals, he creates a game in which villagers must guess who among them is a werewolf, while being threatened themselves.
This game, which he calls "The Werewolf Game," quickly becomes a tradition in a small Romanian village, but it actually conceals a demonic experiment. Through this game, Morgoth wishes to observe and manipulate collective fear, open a portal to the spirit world, and sow chaos.
The story follows several characters: a young heir to an ancient village, a local priest, a scholar passionate about mythology, and a mysterious stranger who seems to know a lot about Morgoth. Together, they gradually uncover the terrifying truth behind the game, while attempting to thwart the demon's plans
